1. Unsnap the back of the hat:
2. Fold the bill forward:
3. Slide the sweatband underneath the slot below the red line on the hat frame:
4. Put the hat on the frame with the metal band as close to the bill of the hat as possible and also make sure the band is even with the bill all the way across:
5. Turn the hat 90 degrees and as you put the hat frame on the driver on the machine turn the hat back upright:
6. For the back of the hat use the 4x4 hoop, I use the corner of a table and put the plastic snaps on each corner and the top ball of the outside the frame:
